    • 5:00 p.m. - Dinner at the West Texas Chop House - 651 Mall Ring Cir, Henderson, NV - across the street

      from Sunset Station. Dinner will be at individual expense.

    • Fellowship at the restaurant following dinner.

Saturday, August 31, 2024 
   •  9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - St. Timothy Episcopal Church, 43 Pacific Ave, Henderson, NV. Located just 3 miles

       from recommended hotels.

       Our Charity Event - a “Labor Day of Love" - beautification projects at the church - time subject to change.

       Rehearsal follows projects. Be sure to bring work clothes for our charity event. 

   •  4:00 p.m. - Conclave and Eucharist Service - St. Timothy Episcopal Church

   •  6:00 p.m. - Templar dinner served by Friends in the Desert

   •  Fellowship following dinner.

The historic average temperature is 99-104° this time of year. Remember to stay hydrated.

Sweat has a tendency to evaporate quickly. Working Party – bring clothes you are willing

to get dirty or toss.

SUNSET STATION CASINO. 

This sprawling hotel has 457 deluxe hotel rooms oozing of Spanish flavor. All rooms have Internet access and data port connectivity to help you stay connected. Sunset Station hotel also provides complimentary airport and Strip Shuttle Service to guests for their convenience.

 

At the hotel casino, guests can enjoy themselves at the 2500 slot machines with a range from penny slots to quarter. If that is not enough, satiate your spirit playing bingo, poker or video poker. Kid friendly, with arcade bowling alley, Movie Theater, and food court. Grand Prior stayed here when he came to do our investiture last year and had a good time.

HILTON GARDEN INN

Located adjacent to the Sunset Station Casino in Henderson, Nevada, this hotel offers spacious guest rooms and suites as well as contemporary facilities within walking distance of restaurants. Offering free Wi-Fi, each air-conditioned room at Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas-Henderson provides a cable TV, a desk and an en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee-making facilities are also provided. A free hot breakfast buffet is served to guests daily.

 

Guests also have access to the hotel's outdoor pool, hot tub and outdoor barbecue area. The hotel is just minutes from attractions such as the Galleria Mall, Lake Mead Recreation Area and the Las Vegas Speedway. The Hoover Dam is 22 miles east of the hotel.
